Last years Winners of the Midhurst Cup, Chichester, were back again for 2025 to take on Petworth. Once again the weather was perfect and the green bowling well.
Petworth took an early advantage and by nine ends were just holding the lead. However, Chichester we’re not prepared to give up the cup without a fight and took the lead and held it till the eighteenth end. The final score was Chichester 79, Petworth 61.
The day was enjoyed by all with good attendance and ending with the popular Gerald sausage sizzle and Chichester were delighted to remain the Midhurst Cup Champions for another year.
We’ll done both teams for giving us a great game to watch.
